Starting as an office boy at Sao Paulo's Public Transportation office, Milton became the CEO's top advisor for nearly 10 years. Simultaneously, Milton worked for four years as stage manager at SBT, one of Brazil's major television stations. From there Milton took on the role of administration manager for Motorola of Brazil, a job that sent him to Chicago to visit the company's headquarters. It was in Chicago that Milton realized that he was ready to relocate to the United States.

Arriving in the United States in 1997 uttering only Portuguese, he found himself depending on his new friends to steer him in the right direction on his new journey. His first stop was Dominican University in River Forest, IL, for his English studies, Milton had to learn English quickly to be able to work and survive. Two years later, Milton was introduced to Michael Mitz a well-known photographer in Chicago, and it was Michael who inspired Milton's artistic self to finally break free. Milton began his photography and soon discovered he had an eye for capturing life in something as simple and enchanting as a flower.

His art embodies all that is stunning, imaginative and vibrant. Desire to reside in a warmer climate has brought Milton to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in the summer of 2003, where he now reside with his dog Tyler.

In 2005 Milton attended Photography classes at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale. Where he graduated with an Associate Of Science in Photography.
